VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN

- Marshal check-in begins at 10:00am and ends at 12:00pm

- Located in Southwest end of Convention Center (south of Starbucks)

- Bring your COMPLETED liability waiver to check-in

- There will be a FREE valet bike service located on 13th Street or inside Exhibit Hall E (location
pending weather). First come, first serve

- Volunteers will receive T-shirt, map, and water at check-in

- Once you check-in, there may be some down time. Volunteers are then invited to visit the Lifestyle Festival,
watch the race on the big screen, or wait in the Convention Center.

BLOCK CAPTAINS

- Each block along the course will have its own designated Captain

- Block Captains can answer questions and help with problems

- Safety vests will be handed out by and returned to Block Captains

HELPFUL HINTS

- No secure place to leave personal items (if needed, bring backpack or other bag)

- You can bring collapsible chairs for the wait at your post assignment (you may have to carry it several blocks)

- Eat a good breakfast and bring snacks

- Leave plenty of time to get to check-in

PREPARE FOR THE WEATHER

- Dress in layers

- Bring an umbrella

- Wear waterproof shoes or boots if it is raining

- Handwarmers and footwarmers if it is cold

- Sunscreen if it’s sunny
